organization is key....
making a website is no easy task. i guess i thought because i am somewhat technologically savoy that i would be able to kinda whip a website out quickly, a simple one at least... however that is not the case. not even close. this entire process has kind of made me realize that 1. all of my shit is everywhere... in the messy hard drive kind of way. even with all the folders and such, i really need to up my organization skills. that had never ever been easy for me. 2. i dont really have a unified body of work.
anyways here are 4 images from abroad that fit nicely together. environmental portraits.

portraits
i like to take portraits. but usually only of people i really know.... or if i can catch them in a moment.

i feel like there is a huge difference between a portrait and picture. if you can catch a someones personality, it is a success.

or if you can catch them when they aren't thinking too much, when their guard it down...

to do or not to do....
this semester i want to 1. purchase a domain name for my website "mollyadwyerphotography.com" is available from GoDaddy, i think that's what i am going to go with. 2. brand self with business card, a resume, a logo, and different watermarks. the breakdowns in the website are going to be... portraiture, travel, commercial, and... i feel like there is something i am missing or forgetting... anyways, some websites i like are:
- http://www.richardavedon.com/
i like super "clean" websites. the less the better, which is not how i am at all, but when it comes to the web, overload is not the best. if my ADD can't take it, then i dont like it.

influences....
jeff koons bmw
something i wanted to re-blog and share with the class...
along with photography and art, i love cars. i guess it something i picked up from the boys back home. you know those kids who hang near the wawa or the wendeys with their "super cool" cars, but actually most of them are quite lame. a piece of duct tape over you exhaust does not make it modified. anyways... here is jeff koons and bmw together.

hmmm
when i thought about putting together these lists, i jumped straight to my stumble account and searched through things like had liked. it got me thinking that while sometimes i view my stumbleupon addition as a bad thing, its not the worst because it really does link me to the rest of the world and art.
